Direct Pay Add-on Module
The Direct Pay Add-on Module gives your customers the option of using an electronic fund transfer to pay their bills. A customer who is set up with direct pay can use an electronic funds transfer to transfer money from their checking or savings account to pay their utility bill. The customer does not need to write a check, pay cash, or charge a credit card.

Getting started
Usually, when you purchase the Direct Pay Add-on module a client relationship manager will help you set up the options on the Direct Pay tab in Organization > Organization. More

Sending ACH file to the bank for processing
After you finish the monthly checklist, create the ACH file and send it the bank for processing. The ACH file includes the direct pay transanction for each direct pay customer. More
Receiving electronic pay entries
The final task is to update the electronic payments to the utility customer. You will also have the option of updating the utility customer balance in the Cash Receipting application and posting the electronic payment to the General Ledger application. More
