How do I edit the pay code properties for long-term disability pay?

Long-term Disability Pay

If you already have a pay code for long-term disability pay, you can edit the pay code properties on the employee's portion to link the pay code to the long-term disability calculation. When you're done, the pay code will use the long-term disability calculation to calculate an amount. 

 

Before you get started

Editing the pay code properties

1. Open Connect Payroll > Organization > Pay Codes.

2. Click Search (F9), it’s the button that looks like a pair of binoculars on the toolbar, and select the LTD pay code.

3. Click the Employee tab.

4. Change the Amount/Rate/Percent Type to Calculation.

5. Click the drop-down arrow next to the Calculation Name field, and select the new calculation for Long-term Disability. Example: Long-term Disability

6. Click Save (Ctrl+S).

7. Click Close to exit Pay Codes.

The employee's portion of the Long-term Disability (LTD) pay code is set up.
