How do I set up a calculation for long-term disability pay?

Long-term Disability Pay

In this step, you'll link the calculation formula and calculation table to the long-term disability calculation. The long-term disability calculation will use the calculation formula for long-term disability and the calculation table for long-term disability to calculation the long-term disability amount. 

 

 

Before you get started

Adding a calculation for long-term disability pay

1. Open Connect Payroll > Organization > Calculations.

2. Click New (Ctrl+N).

3. Type LONG-TERM DISABILITY in the Calculation Name and Abbreviated Name field.

4. Click the drop-down arrow next to the Calculation Formula field, and select Long-term Disability.

5. Click the drop-down arrow next to the Calculation Table field and select Long-term Disability.

6. Click the drop-down arrow next to the Pay Code field and select Informational.

7. Click Save (Ctrl+S).

8. Click Close to exit Calculations.

The long-term disability calculation is set up.
