How do I set up a calculation formula for long-term disability pay?

Long-term Disability Pay 

Enter the formula for calculating long-term disability. The calculation formula tells the pay code how to calculate long-term disability. 

 

 

Before you get started

Setting up a calculation formula for long-term disability pay

1. Open Connect Payroll > Organization > Calculation Formulas.

2. Click New (Ctrl+N).

The form clears.

3. Type LONG-TERM DISABILITY in the Formula Name field.

4. In the Formula field, type the following formula:

Var1=Table(EmployeeAge)

 

Press Ctrl+Enter to move the cursor to the next line.

Result=Round((((AnnualWage)/100)*Var1),2)

 

5. In the lower-right corner of the screen, click Check Syntax to check the formula for errors.

If the formula is error-free, the No Errors Found form appears. Click OK to continue.

If errors exist, the Error form appears with an explanation of what you need to do to fix the error. Read the message carefully, fix the formula, and click Check Syntax again to check your work.

6. Click Save (Ctrl+S).

The form clears.

7. Click Close to exit Calculation Formulas.

The calculation formula for long-term disability is saved.
