Changing my default entry mode to Whole Dollar mode

Set my default entry mode to enter amounts as a whole dollar. This setting will round amounts to the nearest whole number.

Do this..

1. Open Connect General Ledger > Journals > Enter Journal Amounts.

2. Click Options (F12) .

3. Click to select the checkbox titled Whole Dollar Mode.

4. Click OK.

The default entry mode will round amounts to the nearest whole dollar amount.

Copying my default entry mode to copy previous entries

When you enter journal amounts, you can change the default entry mode to copy entries from the last journal entry that you created during the current session to the new journal entry.

You can copy these fields: Description, Activity, Job Number, Account, Amount, and Comments.

Do this...

1. Open Connect General Ledger > Journals > Enter Journal Amounts.

2. Click Options (F12) .

3. Find the section titled Copy Fields and then click Select.

The Selection form displays on the screen.

 

4. Move the fields that you want to copy to the Selected Items list, and then click OK.

The fields that you have selected display in the Copy Fields field.

5. Click OK.

The default entry mode will copy the values from the selected fields to the fields on the new journal entry.
