Receipt Register

 

A receipt register tracks all receipts issued for payments received by an organization. It serves as a detailed log of transactions, documenting key details, such as: 

  • Receipt number

  • Date of transaction

  • Payer's name

  • Amount received

  • Payment method (cash, check, credit card, and so on)

  • Purpose of the payment (for example, invoice payment, utility payment, license fee, and so on)

  • User or cashier who processed the transaction

  • Workspace used to process the the transaction
