What is a sequence detail?

Service Orders

When you create a service order with more than one action code, each action code is assigned to the service order as a separate sequence detail. The sequence detail tracks each action code as a separate task so you can complete action codes one by one. The form layout linked to the action code in Organization > Action Codes will also determine which information to include and how to print it.

Limitations

If the form size is set, the form will only include the action codes that will fit on the form layout.
If the form size can expand, the form will include all of the action codes listed on the service order.
If there are more than one action code on a service order, and an action code uses a different service order form, each action code will print on the service order form assigned to the action code.
If there is information that relates to the service order but doesn't relate to a specific sequence detail, you can add that information to the Comments section on the service order.
