Meter Evaluation Report
Use the Meter Evaluation Report to determine the condition of a meter.
Printing a Meter Evaluation Report
Set up the report properties.
Do this...
1. Open Connect Utility Management > Reports > Meter Evaluation Report.
2. Select a report title.
3. Fill in the options on the report.
Use the sections in this help topic to fill in each field. The fields are listed in alphabetical order.
4. Click Print (CTRL+P).
The report prints.
Options
Check against
Use Check Against to evaluate the meter using the original installation date or current installation date. The meter's original installation date is the date when the meter was installed the first time. Use this option to include all of the transactions for the meter since its initial installation date. This option gives you a comprehensive overview.
While the current installation date limits the data selection to transactions that have been created for the meter at the present service address. This option provides a limited overview.
Excluded action codes
An Action Code is a description a user can assign to a transaction that occurs in the Utility Management program. If the Utility Management Service Orders interface is enabled, you can also use the action code to enter a service order.
What do you want to do?
I want to include all action codes. On the Services/Action Codes tab, click Select next to the Excluded Action Codes list. Use the Selection form to move the action codes that you wish to include on the report to the Available Action Codes list.
I want to exclude some action codes. On the Services/Action Codes tab, click Select next to the Excluded Action Codes list. Use the Selection form to move the action codes that you wish to exclude from the report to the Selected Action Codes list.
Meter types
A meter type defines the activity status for the related meter. An active meter is a meter that does not have an activation or termination date. A meter is inventory when the meter is included in meters that are on hand and waiting to be installed.
Report dates
Report Dates is the report date range.
Do you want to use the current month as the report date range?
Yes, I want to use the current month. Continue to the next step.
No, I want to use a different date range. Change the Report Date, or click Advanced Options.
Selected services
Use the Selected Service list on the Services tab to select the services the routine will search for billing exceptions. A service may include metered and non-metered services. A metered service is a service, such as water or electricity, that only requires a consumer to pay the portion used.
What do you want to do?
I want to search all services. On the Services tab, click to select Include All Services.
I want to search only metered services. On the Services tab, click to select Include All Metered Services.
I want to select the services to include. On the Services tab, click to select Selected Services. Click the Select button. Use the Selection form to move the service to the Selected Services list. Click OK.
