How do I set up a batch report to balance month-end reports?

Set up a single batch report to print month-end reports.

At the end of the month, you'll need to print the Transaction Summary, Aging Report, AR by Service Report, and Billing and Usage Summary. You can add these four reports to a batch report so you can print the batch report and run all four reports at the same time.

Adding month-end reports to batch report

1. Open Connect Utility Management > Reports > Batch Reports.

2. Click Batch Reports.

3. Click New (CTRL+N).

4. Click Select Reports.

The Selection Form displays.

5. Use the Available Items List to find each report and then double-click it.

You'll want to add the Aging Report, AR by Service Report, Billing and Usage Summary, and Transaction Summary.

6. Click OK.

6. Click Save (CTRL+S).

The Save Batch Report form displays.

7. Click Save As New Report and then enter Month-end Batch Report.

8. Click OK.

The Month-end Batch Report is saved.

Printing Month-end Batch Report

When you're reading to balance the month end, run the Month-end Batch Report to print the Aging Report, AR by Service Report, Billing and Usage Summary, and Transaction Summary.

Do this...

1. Open Connect Utility Management > Reports > Batch Reports.

2. Use the drop-down list to select the Month-end Batch Report.

3. Click Print (CTRL+P).

The batch report prints the Aging Report, AR by Service Report, Billing and Usage Summary, and Transaction Summary. Now, you can balance the four reports as usual for the month end.
