How do I set up user notifications for text and email?

Set up text and email notifications for users. Connect will send notifications for maintenance orders when the maintenance order status changes to assigned, unassigned, and completed.

Setting up user notifications for text and email
1. Open Connect Utility Management > Organization > Service Order Personnel.
2. Set up the notification options.

Send notifications to the user's email address. Click to select the Receive Emails checkbox...

... and verify the user's email address. To change a user's email address, enter the email address in the Email box.

If Email box is restricted and you can't type in it, click the Edit the User In System Management link to update the master user record. To learn more, see How do I update a user's notification email or mobile number? (System Management)

Receive texts
Send a text message to the user's mobile telephone number. Click to select the Receive Texts checkbox...

...and verify the user's mobile number.

If the Mobile Number box is restricted and you can't type in it, click the Edit the User In System Management link to update the master user record. To learn more, see How do I update a user's notification email or mobile number? (System Management)
3. Click Save (CTRL+S).
The user notification setting is saved.
