How do I change .XXYYY to XX.YYY?

Use Change .XXYYY to XX.YYY to copy the first two-digits in the reading sequence and use them as the first two-digits of the reading route. For example, if the reading sequence were 12345, then the new reading route would be 12 (because 12 are the first two-digits) and the new reading sequences would be 345.

Back up the Utility Management database. See the help topic titled How do I back up the database?

Changing .XXYYY to XX.YYY

1. Open Connect Utility Management > Meters > Modify Reading Route/Sequences.

2. Click to select Change .XXYYY to XX.YYY.

3. Select the Services.

Filter the services to include in the routine. Press and hold the CTRL key to select more than one service.

4. Select the District and Cycle.

Filter reading sequence and reading route by district and cycle. This field is only available when the organization has set up districts and fields.

5. Click GO (CTRL+G).

The routine assigns the first two-digits of the reading sequence as the reading route.
