How do I renumber reading sequence?

Use Renumber Reading Sequence to change the beginning read sequence number and set the increment by value.
Before you get started

Back up the Utility Management database. See the help topic titled How do I back up the database?
Renumbering reading sequence
1. Open Connect Utility Management > Meters > Modify Reading Route/Sequences.
2. Click to select Renumber Reading Sequence.
3. Select the Services.
Filter the services to include in the routine. Press and hold the CTRL key to select more than one service.
4. Select the checkbox titled Assign the Same Sequence to All Services.
5. Fill in these fields.
Beginning read route
Use the beginning read route to enter the first read route in the range.
Ending read route
Use ending read route to define the last read route in the range.
Beginning read sequence
Enter the first read sequence in the range.
Ending read sequence
Enter the last read sequence in the range.
New beginning read sequence
The New Beginning Read Sequence is the first sequence number to assign to the renumbered read sequences.
Increment sequences by
This is the value to increase the sequence number. For example, Jane wants to increase sequence numbers by increments of 10. She uses 10 as the New Beginning Sequence Number and enters 10 in the Increment Sequences By field. When the routine runs, the sequence numbers are assigned like this: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50...
6. Click GO (CTRL+G).
The routine uses the selected options to renumber the reading sequence range.
