How do I copy route number from customer number?
Meter Reading Route and Sequences
Use Copy Route Number from Customer Number to use the book number, the first segment, from a customer number as the customer’s reading route number. Example: If the customer number is 1.2345, then first segment of the customer number is “1”. Running this routine will copy “1” to the Reading Route field.

Back up the Utility Management database. See the help topic titled How do I back up the database?
Copying route number from customer number
1. Open Connect Utility Management > Meters > Modify Reading Route/Sequences.
2. Click to select Copy Route Number from Customer Number.
3. Select the Services.
Filter the services to include in the routine. Press and hold the CTRL key to select more than one service.
4. Select the District and Cycle.
Filter reading sequence and reading route by district and cycle. This field is only available when the organization has set up districts and fields.
5. Click GO (CTRL+G).
The routine assigns the first segment of the customer number as the reading route.
