Why can't I enter a meter reading?

Checking if the meter is assigned to a meter ID

Utility Management uses the meter ID to enter a meter reading. If the meter exists, but the meter is not assigned to a meter ID, you won't be able to enter the meter reading. See the help topic titled How do I add a meter ID to a meter?
