How do I search for a partial value?

Use the Search form to look up a word or phrase in a field.

When you open a Search form, type "%" (SHIFT+5) followed by the search value. Connect will find include in the search results all values that have the search value at the beginning, in the middle, or at the end.

Example

For example, to look up William Bate's record, you would need to know his last name, complete address, complete phone number, and so on. If you typed in "William" as the search value, the search results might not include the needed information.

But if you type "%" followed by William, the search results will include all of the fields with a word or phrase that matches the search value. Like this...
