How do I submit the 941 quarterly report?

Do not submit the report that prints when you run Reports > 941. It is not accepted by the IRS.

Do

  • use Form 941 for YYYY: Employer's QUARTERLY Federal Tax Return. You can download this form from the IRS website. [Form 941 PDF]

  • in Connect, use 941 Report - Print to Form to print your 941 information to a pre-printed Form 941. 

  • Mail Form 941 to the IRS. If you are not submitting a payment, you may be able to file Form 941 electronically through the IRS e-file system.
