Departments

 

Setting up a department allows you to assign controls at the department level. The department settings will set the department manager, who the department manager reports to, how the employees in the department will clock in and out, and what they will see when they open their timesheet. 

Note: Payroll Department Codes that have been selected in the Payroll program can only be used to create and view transactions in the Payroll program. Payroll Department Codes are set up in the Payroll Department view, however, other programs that interface with the Payroll program will have access to the Payroll Department Codes.
