IRS Tax Levy
Set up the IRS tax levy calculations to link the calculation table with the calculation formula for

Head of Household
-
Married Filing Jointly
-
Married Filing Separately
-
Single
These instructions are for 2023. You may need to update the instructions if you are setting up the IRS tax levy for a different year.
Head of Household calculation
1. Open Connect Payroll > Organization > Calculations.
2. Click New (CTRL+N).
3. Set up the following options.
Calculation, Head of Household - IRS Tax Levy

Calculation name: Head of Household - IRS Tax Levy
-
Abbreviated calculation name: Head of House IRS
-
Calculation formula: IRS Tax Levy Exempt Wages
-
Pay code type: Deduction
4. Click Save (CTRL+S).
Married Filing Jointly calculation
1. Open Connect Payroll > Organization > Calculations.
2. Click New (CTRL+N).
3. Set up the following options.
Calculation, Married Filing Jointly - IRS Tax Levy
-
Calculation name: Married Filing Jointly - IRS Tax Levy
-
Abbreviated calculation name: Married Jointly IRS
-
Calculation formula: IRS Tax Levy Exempt Wages
-
Pay code type: Deduction
4. Click Save (CTRL+S).
Married Filing Separately calculation
1. Open Connect Payroll > Organization > Calculations.
2. Click New (CTRL+N).
3. Set up the following options.
Calculation, Married Filing Jointly - IRS Tax Levy

Calculation name: Married Filing Separately - IRS Tax Levy
-
Abbreviated calculation name: Married Sep IRS
-
Calculation formula: IRS Tax Levy Exempt Wages
-
Pay code type: Deduction
4. Click Save (CTRL+S).
Single calculation
1. Open Connect Payroll > Organization > Calculations.
2. Click New (CTRL+N).
3. Set up the following options.
Calculation, Married Filing Jointly - IRS Tax Levy

Calculation name: Single - IRS Tax Levy

Abbreviated calculation name: Single IRS
-
Calculation formula: IRS Tax Levy Exempt Wages
