How do I link a payroll check calculation to an employee position?

Payroll Checks 

In previous versions, the pay records (also known as earnings records) with the employee position. With the 2022.05 release, each transaction (including transactions for deduction and tax) that is created by calculating a payroll check will be linked to the employee position. You don't have to do anything. Connect will record the transactions when the payroll check is calculated. 

That means that you can run a report to break down an employee's payroll check by employee position. The reporting portion will be coming in a future release.
