Adjust Leave Carryover Hours

 

Adjusting leave carryover hours at the employee level will use the settings on the employee pay code to subtract leave hours in excess of the carryover limit. The carryover limit is set by the organization and it should reflect the organization's leave policy on whether leave can be carried over, if there are any maximum limits, and any conditions or restrictions. 

 

Running the Adjust Leave Carryover Hours routine is based on the organization's leave policy. In most organizations, leave is adjusted at the end of the payroll year. It is a step in the Payroll Year End Checklist, but you can run this routine when you need to adjust leave hours to the carryover limit on the leave pay code.
