Inquiry

Use Inquiry to view the maintenance order details and comments. You can set up filters to view pending maintenance orders and maintenance orders that are assigned to a department.

Launch Inquiry

1. Open Connect Maintenance Orders > Inquiry.

2. Enter a maintenance order number or location in the Lookup bar. Press Enter.

3. Now, the maintenance order information displays on the screen.

Options

Actions

All of the actions that are tied to the maintenance order are displayed on the Actions tab. You can click on an action to show the action's properties, the user who assigned the action, and when the action was completed.

If you want to show additional information that is recorded on a maintenance order but is not shown in Inquiry, click on the Detail subtab. Now, right-click on Fields and click Select Fields.

Attachments

All of the files and images that have been saved with the maintenance order's record can be found on the Attachments tab.

Filter maintenance orders

A filter can sort the data to display only items that are found in the filter's selection criteria. The Filter button is located on the main toolbar, like this...

Location detail/summary

The Location tab lists the maintenance orders by physical address.

What do you want to do?

I want to summarize/show detail. Use the Show Summarize/Show Detail button to toggle between the location's detail and summary information.
I want to expand the maintenance order detail. Double-click on a maintenance order in the grid.

Maintenance orders

Use the Maintenance Order tab to view the following information:

Contact information for the individual who requested the maintenance order
Details for who created the maintenance order
Details for who completed the maintenance order
Details for who canceled the maintenance order

If you want to show additional information that is recorded on a maintenance order but is not shown in Inquiry, click on the Detail tab. Now, right-click on Fields and click Select Fields.

Search summarize/show detail

Use the Summarize/Show Detail button on the Search tab to toggle between the maintenance order summary and detail. When a maintenance order has more than one action the grid will show a row for each detail.
