Activity Journals Report

Activity journals

Use the Activity Journals report to review the transactions that are linked to an activity. You can set up activity codes in the General Ledger application to track expenses, revenue, and so on. Linking a transaction to an activity code allows you to use the activity reports to review transactions for a specific activity. Some organizations print the report immediately after an entry is created. Other organizations wait until the end of the period to reviiew all of the transactions that were created for the activity during the period.

What if I want to print the old version of the report? When a new version of a report is released, you have the option of using the old version of the report. To access the old version of the report, go to the Reports menu and click the link titled "Old Reports". Let us know if there is an issue with the new report, use CIMS or call customer support at (800) 228-9851.

Here's an example of the activity journals report for the St. Patrick's Day Parade. It shows the receipts received in Cash Receipting, the salaries and wages tagged in Payroll, and if there were any other transactions created in another Connect application and flagged for the St. Patrick's Day Parade, they would be included on the report.
