How do I fix missing account segments?

Recalculate

Running Checkout will always search for GL accounts with missing segments. If a GL account has a missing segment, an error message will be included on the error report that prints after you run Checkout.

Why is this important? Connect Online needs a GL account to have all of the necessary account segments to display GL accounts correctly.

This is the error that prints on the error report. It's located in the System Information section at the beginning of the report.

Fixing missing account segments

1. Open Connect General Ledger > Organization > Recalculate.

2. Click to select the Correct Missing Account Segments checkbox.

3. Click GO (CTRL+G).

The missing account segment is added to the GL account. Run Checkout again to verify the GL account is fixed.
