Re-opening a closed period

1. Open Connect General Ledger > Organization > Organization.

2. Find the Last Period Closed box on the Organization tab.

3. Select the period before the period that you would like to reopen.

For example, the current period is 3/23 and Joe wants to update information in period 2/23, but period 2/23 is closed. Joe opens Organization and then uses the Last Period Closed menu to select period 1/23. Now, Joe can edit transactions in period 2/23. When Joe is done updating transactions in period 2/23, Joe will need to return to Organization to change the Last Period Closed to period 2/23.
