How do I add comments?

Add a comment to a journal entry. The comments that you enter are stored in the Comment History list. You can use the Comment History list to copy a comment from a previous journal entry and paste it into a new journal entry.

Adding a comment

1. In Enter Journal Amounts, find the field titled Comments.

2. Click on the field and type in a comment..

3. When you finish saving the journal entry, the comment is added to the Comment History.

Adding a recurring comment

1. Click to view a list of your recent comments.

2. Select a comment from the list.

The list displays comments by vendor number.

Changing the number of comments to display as comment history

Click Options (F12) and then use the Comment History to Display field to enter the number of comments to display in the Comment History list.
