How do I export account balances to my online payment provider?
Online Payments
Use Cash Receipting to save the account balances in an export file. You can use the online payment application to import the account balances from the export file. When your customers use the online payment portal to make a payment, the online payment portal will display the account balance that was saved in the export file.

Supported online payment providers

Intellipay. Generates the export file, which you will send to Intellipay.

Xpress Bill Pay. Generates and sends the export file to Xpress Bill Pay.

Other payment providers. Generates a custom export file to support other payment providers that have not partnered with Caselle.
Exporting account balances for Xpress Bill Pay
1. Open Connect Cash Receipting > Payments > Process Online Payments.
2. Select Xpress Bill Pay as the Online Payment Provider.
Connect will select the fields that Xpress Bill Pay requires in the export file and add them to the Export Fields box.
3. To export account statements, click to select the Export Account Statements checkbox and then enter the statement file path.
Include the path and file name to the file destination. This is where Connect will save the export file. This option is only available when Xpress Bill Pay is the online payment provider.
4. To export account balances, click to select the Export Account Balances checkbox and then fill in the following information.
As of date:
Enter a date (MM/DD/YYYY). The export file will include account balances in the export file as of this date.
Contact emails:
Enter the email address for the person to contact at the organization with questions about the export file. Use a comma (,) to separate mutliple email addresses.
Include accounts only if the account balance has changed since:
Filter out and remove accounts when there have been no changes to the account balance since the As Of Date.
Categories:
Select the Cash Receipting categories to inlcude in the export file. For example, if the online payment portal only accepts utility payments, you can choose to include only utility accounts in the export file.
The list includes categories with distributions that support online payments.
Export file name:
Choose the destination path and file name to use to create the export file. You can use the default file name for the Xpress Bill Pay export file. Or you can enter the path and file name to choose a different destination.
5. Click GO (CTRL+G).
Exporting account balances for Intellipay
1. Open Connect Cash Receipting > Payments > Process Online Payments.
2. Select Xpress Bill Pay as the Intellipay.
Connect will select the fields that Intellipay requires in the export file and add them to the Export Fields box.
3. To export account balances, click to select the Export Account Balances checkbox and then fill in the following information.
As of date:
Enter a date (MM/DD/YYYY). The export file will include account balances in the export file as of this date.
Categories:
Select the Cash Receipting categories to inlcude in the export file. For example, if the online payment portal only accepts utility payments, you can choose to include only utility accounts in the export file.

Exporting account balances for other online payment providers

2. Select Other as the Online Payment Provider.
3. To export account balances, click to select the Export Account Balances checkbox and then fill in the following information.

Enter a date (MM/DD/YYYY). The export file will include account balances in the export file as of this date.

Select the Cash Receipting categories to inlcude in the export file. For example, if the online payment portal only accepts utility payments, you can choose to include only utility accounts in the export file.

4. Select the fields to include in the export file.
You will need to select the fields the online payment provider needs for the payment portal. You may need to contact the online payment provider to request the fields to include in the export file.
5. Click GO (CTRL+G).
