How do I look up property tax accounts?

When you're entering payments for property tax accounts, you can look up property tax accounts by

Parcel ID
Property address
City
Owner name

Looking up property tax accounts

1. Open Connect Cash Receipting > Payments > Enter Payments.

2. Use the Category box to select a property tax category.

The property tax category must use the Property Tax Collection interface.

3. Use the Customer box to enter a parcel ID, property address, city, owner name, or search the Property Tax Collection database.

Why can't I look up information in the Property Tax Collection database? To use the Property Tax Collection application, the category in the Cash Receipting application must be set up to use the Property Tax Collection interface.
