How do I remove a distribution?

Follow these instructions to delete a category from Connect. If the category has been used to create receipts, you will not be able to delete it. You can change the category settings to stop users from using it to create new receipts, see the help topic titled How do I allow new receipts? (Distributions).

Removing a distribution

1. Open Connect Cash Receipting > Organization > Categories.

2. Use the Look Up bar to enter the category code. Press Enter.

3. Click to select the Distribution tab.

4. Click to select a distribution code from the Distributions list.

5. Click to select the button titled Remove the Selected Distribution..

6. Click Save (CTRL+S).

The distribution is deleted.
