Cash Receipting Daily Checklist

Checklists 

Find easy ways to enter payments for customers and update the payments to other Connect applications. Start with logging into the Enter Payments view. This is the view that you will use to enter payments. Choose the category and distribution and then enter the customer's payment information.

If the Cash Receipting application is set up to update payments immediately, saving the payment entry will post the payment information to the Connect application. Users who are using the Connect application can view the payment information in real time.  

If the Cash Receipting application is not set up to update payments immediately, then the payments that you enter will not be updated to the other Connect applications until you run the Update Payments routine. Updating payments is part of the At Cutoff Time checklist.
