Trust Disposition Report

A trust disposition records the final settlement of the cash trust or bond trust. Use the Trust Disposition Report to print a list of trust dispositions for applied, refunded, forfeited, and so on, for a date range.

Print Trust Disposition Report

1. Open Connect Court Management > Cases > Trust Disposition Report.

2. Select a report title.

3. Set up the Dispositions to Include.

A disposition type is a group or category that defines the accounting behavior to record disposition transactions.

4. Click Print (CTRL+P).

The report prints.

Options

Applied cash trusts

An applied cash trust is a cash amount that is applied to the outstanding case balance. For example, Judge X orders the trust to apply the trust balance as payment.

Cleared bond trusts

A cleared bond trust is a bond that is removed by a judge because the obligation has been satisfied.

Dispositions to include

A disposition is the final settlement, the outcome or final judgment, of a case. Use the options in this section to select the dispositions to include on the report.

Failed to appear bond trusts

An appearance bond is issued when the defendant is released from jail and given a court date and time. If the defendant does not appear in court at the assigned date and time, the bond status becomes Failed to Appear for failing and the bond revocation process begins.

Forfeited cash trusts

A forfeited cash trust is a cash trust the defendant has lost due to failure or neglect of a duty, obligation, or defense.

Refunded cash trusts

A refunded cash trust is a cash trust that has been returned to the defendant or the party that posted the trust.

Report dates

Report dates is the report date range. The report will use the report date range to select transactions to print on the report.

A transferred cash trust is the passing of a cash trust from one case to another.
