How do I give final approval to a project?

Sign off on the final approval step. Final approval is the last step in the approval process. When all of the approval steps assigned to a project have been approved, the Approve Projects routine will route the project to the "final approval" step. Completing this step means the project has been approved by all of the assigned approvers and it's ready for use.

Before you get started

  • All of the approval steps in the approval process must be completed.

Approving projects

1. Open Connect Community Development > Projects > Approve Projects.

2. Enter the Project.

This is the project number assigned to the project that you want to approve,.

The Approve Project dialog box displays.

3. Use the field titled Approve Project As Of to enter the project approval date.

 

4. Click OK to continue.

Note: If the project has expired, Connect will ask you to change the expiration date to a future date.

The entire project is approved.
