How do I use the current date as the default date on a failed inspection?
Permits
Set up the default options to use the current date as the default date on a failed inspection. When this option is selected and you set the inspection status to failed, the current date will be displayed in the Completed Date field. You can choose to use the default date or you can enter a different completed date.
Important! Using this option will close the inspection. Do not use this option if your organization sets the status to failed and then returns at a later date to add additional notes or change the inspection status.
