How do I set up an inspection type for permits?

Add an inspection type for permits.

Connect only displays the inspection types that are set up for permits in the Search form for adding inspection types to permits. You can use the Inspection Type table to change the settings on the inspection type so Connect can assign the inspection type when you enter a new code violation.

Setting up an inspection type for a code violation

1. Open Connect Community Development > Organization > Codes.

2. Use the Code field to enter a Code name. Press Enter.

3. Click to select the checkbox titled Use With permits.

4. Click Save (CTRL+S).

Connect adds the inspection type to the list of inspection types for permits. Now, you can add the inspection type to a permit (Organization > Codes).
