Use Connect Online with Ersi Map Layers

A map layer adds shows satellite and street level features to a basemap. Use maps to show the location of scheduled appointments.

Before you get started

You'll need to set up the Esri Map Layers interface in System Management. See the help topic titled How Do I Set Up the Esri Map Layers Interface?

Showing or hiding the map area

1. Open My Dashboard.

2. Use the Applications menu to navigate to Inspection List.

3. Click Settings .

4. Click to select the checkbox titled Show Map.

Changing the Basemap

Using Satellite will give you the view a satellite from orbit would see looking down on the earth. On the other hand, the Streets view will show a map with roads and cities. You can switch basemaps to choose the basemap that best fits your needs.

Do this...

1. Open My Dashboard.

2. Use the Applications menu to navigate to Inspection List.

3. Click Settings .

4. Use the Map menu to select a different basemap.

Changing map layers

A map layer shows features such as hydrants, control valves, meters, mains, lateral lines, and so on. Adding a map layer will add the selected feature to the map. Removing a map layer will delete the features.

Do this...

1. Open My Dashboard.

2. Use the Applications menu to navigate to Inspection List.

3. Click Settings .
