How do I assign an inspection to a user? (Connect Online)
Connect Online Community Development
Request a user work on an inspection. You can assign an inspection to a user to move the inspection to the user's inspection queue so the user will be able to view it and work on it. Inspections that are unassigned will display as an unassigned inspection in the Inspections queue for all inspectors.
Assigning an inspection to a user
1. Open My Dashboard.
2. Use the Applications menu to select Inspection List.

3. Select an inspection by selecting the checkbox next to it.

When you select an inspection, the Work On It and Assign To buttons will be active.
4. Use the Assign To button to assign a user.
The Assign To menu shows the names of all of the users who are set up as a user in Community Development and assigned to inspections. To add or remove a user, see the help topic titled How do I add/remove an inspector? in the Community Development User Guide.

Connect assigns the inspection to the user and moves it from your Inspection queue to the assigned user's inspection queue.

Unassigning an inspection
1. Open My Dashboard.
2. Use the Applications menu to select Community Development.

4. Use the Assign To button to select Unassigned.

Connect removes the assigned user from the inspection. Inspections that are unassigned will display as an unassigned inspection in the Inspections queue for all inspectors.
