How do I use the public portal to add a new business?

Public portal - Owners 

Use the public portal to submit an application to add a new business. 

Any user who has a user name and password for the public portal can use the public portal to submit an application for a new business. Clicking the Submit Application button will upload the changes for review and approval by the public portal admin. You will receive a confirmation email when the submission has been successfully submitted.  

This is for users who are using the public portal to submit a new business application. This option is available in the 2022.11 release.

 

Using the public portal to submit a new business application 

1. Open the Public Portal and log in. 

2. Open the page to submit a new business application. 

You can open the new business application page from the Dashboard or Business page. 

From the Business License widget, click Add New.

 Or, from the Business Actions widget, click Add New.

3. Fill in the new business application,

The fields on the new business application may be different for your city. This screenshot is an example of what a new business application may look like.

4. Click the Submit Application button at the bottom of the form.

You will receive a confirmation email when the application is submitted for review. .
