How do I back up a database?

Creating a backup file

1. Open Connect System Management > System Tools > Send Databases. 

2. Use the File Name box to enter the backup file name. 

3. Select the This PC checkbox. 

4. Use the File Path box to enter the drive and path for the backup file. 

5. Select the Compress Data checkbox. 

6. Use the Server box to select the SQL server hosting the database. 

7. Select the BL0 database. 

8.  Click GO (CTRL+G). 

A copy of the database is saved as a backup file.
