What is an origination date?

The origination date is the date the business began functioning as a business. Caselle uses the origination date for history tracking.

1. Open Connect Business License > Businesses > Modify Existing Businesses.

2. Click to select the field titled Business, and then enter the business name or number. Press Enter.

3. Find the field titled Origination Date on the Business tab.

4. Enter the date (MM/DD/YYY) the business opened.

5. Click Save (CTRL+S).

Connect saves the updated origination date.
