Transaction Register

Review transactions that occurred during a specific date range. Customize the report to show or hide transactions for credit memos, deposits, deposits applied, invoices, payments, payment adjustments, and write-offs.

Printing a transaction register

1. Open Connect Accounts Receivable > Reports > Transaction Register.

2. Select a report title.

3. Enter the Report Dates.

Report Dates is the report date range. The report will use the report date range to select transactions to print on the report.

Do you want to use the current month as the report date range?

  • Yes, I want to use the current month. Continue to the next step.

  • No, I want to use a different date range. Change the Report Date, or click Advanced Options.  

4. Select the Transaction Types.

A transaction type is a group or category that defines the accounting behavior to record an exchange or transfer of goods, services, or funds.

Which transactions types do you want to include on the report?

  • Include a transaction type. Click to select a checkbox to include the transaction type on the report.

  • Do not include a transaction type. Clear the checkbox to exclude the transaction type on the report. 

5. Set up the Print Sequence Detail checkbox.

The sequence detail shows the reference numbers for the transactions included in the report.

Do you want to include the sequence detail?

  • Yes, print  the sequence detail. Click to select Print Sequence Detail.

  • No, do not print the sequence detail.  Click to clear Print Sequence Detail.

6. Click Print (CTRL+P). 

The report prints.

 

The sequence detail shows the reference numbers for the transactions included in the report.
