Can I modify a purchase order before I approve it?
Make changes to a purchase order waiting for your approval.
You can edit the purchase order detail on a purchase order waiting for your approval. Editing the purchase order detail allows you to make changes to the quantity, cost, vendor, and so on.
Changing a purchase order
1. Open Connect Accounts Payable > Purchases and Requisitions > Approve/Cancel Purchase Orders.
2. Click the
button.
3. Select the option titled Modify Existing Purchase Orders.

My Queue
Connect opens the purchase order in Modify Existing Purchase Orders for editing. After you update the purchase order and save your changes, the new purchase order detail displays in Approve/Cancel Purchase Orders.

Why can't I modify a purchase order?
If you can see the option to Modify Existing Purchase Orders but you can't click on it, the approval process does not allow approvers to change the details on an existing purchase order. See the help topic titled How do I allow approvers to change requisition details?
