How do I set up a user to receive notifications?

Set up a user to receive notifications by text, email, or Connect Online to approve invoices for payment, approve purchase orders, and cancel purchase orders.

Send notifications to the user's email address.

Do this...

1. Open Connect Accounts Payable > Organization > Users.

2. Look up a user.

3. Enter the user's email address.

If there's a master user record in System Management, click the link titled Edit This User in System Management to add or edit the user's email address. For more information, see the help topic titled How do I update a user's notification email or mobile number?

 

4. Select the checkbox titled Receive Emails.

5. Click Save (CTRL+S).

Connect will send notifications to the user's email address.

 

Setting up a user to receive text message notifications

Send notifications to the user's mobile phone. Normal text messaging fees apply.

Do this...

1. Open Connect Accounts Payable > Organization > Users.

2. Look up a user.

3. Enter the user's mobile number and mobile service provider.

4. Select the checkbox titled Receive Texts.

Connect will send notifications for online budget submission to the user's mobile number.

Send notifications to the user's dashboard in Connect Online.

Before you get started... Make sure Connect is set up to send online notifications, see the help topic titled How do I set online notifications? (System Management)

Do this...

1. Open Connect Accounts Payable > Organization > Users.

2. Look up a user.

3. Select the checkbox titled Receive Connect Online Notifications.
