How do I print 1099s?

Follow these instructions to print 1099 information for
Form 1099 - DIV (Dividend)
Form 1099 - G (Government Payments)
Form 1099 - INT (Interest)
Form 1099 - MISC (Miscellaneous)
Form 1099 - NEC (Nonemployee Compensation)
Form 1099 - S (Real Estate)
Form 1099 - R (Retirement)

Before you get started
Purchase the 1099 forms.
Check if the form layout is available in Organization > Forms. If the form layout is missing, you'll need to set up a form layout or contact customer service at (800) 243-8275 for assistance.
Printing 1099s
1. Open Connect Accounts Payable > Government Reporting > 1099s.
2. Use the Tax Year box to select the tax year being reported.
3. Use the 1099 Type box to select Miscellaneous.
4. To print 1099s with 1099 amounts less than the 1099 MISC minimum limit, click to select Include 1099s Below the Minimum Limit checkbox.

5. On the Forms tab, use the Form box to select the form layout for printing Form 1099-NEC.
6. Print the first 2 pages to plain paper to check the form alignment.
Take a page that's printed on plain paper and place it on top of the Form 1099 and then hold both pages up to a light or a window. If the printed information shows up in the right boxes on the Form 1099, you're good to go. If the printed information prints on a line or between boxes or outside a box, you need to adjust the printer settings to change where information prints on the page.
7. If the 1099information on the printed page lines up with the boxes on the Form 1099, you're ready to print to the Form 1099 forms.
