Sort information in ascending or descending order, by type, status, and so on. The column contents will determine which sort options are available for use.

Searching for a value

To search for a transaction, use the search row to enter a search value. The search row is the first row that displays after the column heading. When you enter a value, Connect Online will show transactions that match the search value. If the transaction grid is empty, none of the transactions match the search value.

Using operators to search for a value

Some columns allow you to use operators with a search value. Clicking the magnifying glass will display the list of available operators. For example, using an operator allows you to search for values that are not equal to zero, values that are greater than zero, values that are greater than the allowed amount, and so on.

Sorting in ascending or descending order

1. From the Vendor Detail page, right-click a column heading.

Note: You can also click the column heading title to sort in ascending order and click the column heading title again to reverse the sorting order. The up arrow that displays next to the column heading title when the column is sorted in ascending order...

...and the down arrow shows when the column is sorted in descending order.

2. Use the menu to select an option.

What do you want to do?

I want to sort the column in ascending order (A-Z, 0-9). Select Sort Ascending.
I want to sort the column in descending order (Z-A, 9-0). Select Sort Descending.

Restoring default sorting

1. From the Vendor Detail page, right-click a column heading.

2. Use the menu to select Clearing Sorting.

Resetting grid to default values

To reset the grid to the default values, in other words, remove all the applied settings, click Reset to Grid Defaults .
