Create a backup file of a Caselle database.
Some tasks and routines in Caselle recommend creating a backup copy before you get started. You should always make a backup copy before you run a routine that deletes or modifies transactions, this includes creating a backup prior to installing program updates. That way, you'll have a way to restore the files that were deleted or modified.
Note: You cannot save data to the *\csldata\backup directory. You'll need to create a new folder in *\csldata\backedup where "backedup" is not the same file name as "backup directory". Connect will save the backup file to the "backedup" directory and uses the "backup directory" to store the temporary clean up files. When Connect deletes the temporary files, it will delete the files that were created during the current session from the "backup directory". Any files that existed in the "backup directory" prior to running Send Databases will not be deleted.
In version 2109.08 or later, we replaced the option to Save to FTP with the option to Save to Cloud. Watch a video (0m53s).
