End of field, End of record, Field delimiter, Surround character
A delimiter is a character that marks the beginning or end of a unit of data. A delimited file is a variable-length field where the field length is based on the field's contents. Commonly used delimiters in export files include the comma (,), semicolon (;), and colon (:).
Enter a unique character or symbol in each field; choose a character or symbol that is not used in the record. Use a different character or symbol for each field type. Examples: quotation ("), apostrophe ("), asterisk (*), semicolon (;), colon (:), tab (tab), space (space).
Include column headings
Add the column headings to the export file. The column heading is the first row on a spreadsheet that identifies the content in a column.
Include page breaks
Add page breaks to the export file. A page break tells the report to start printing on a new page.
Include page footer
Add the page footer to the export file. A page footer is text that prints at the bottom of the page in the area outside of the normal printing area.
Include page header
Add the page header to the export file. A page header is text that prints at the top of the page in the area outside of the normal printing area.
Include selection criteria
Add the selection criteria to the export file. In Caselle, the Selection Criteria allows you to choose which information to include in a report.
Include totals
Add the totals to the export file. This option will add the values in a column and print the total.
Insert variable
To add a variable to the filename, position the cursor in the file name at the point where you wish to insert the variable. Use the Variables drop-down list to select a variable name, then click Insert Variable.
You can add more than one variable (Counter, Date, and Time) to the filename.
List one field per line
Select the checkbox to create an export file that lists all of the values for each field. When the values for the selected field have been listed, then the values for the next field will be included.

Variables
A variable is a word or phrase that can represent a value such as a total or quantity or text such as a name or telephone number. Use this drop-down list to select a variable to insert in the filename.
