To Provide a FREE & an additional place for families, friends, & the general public to visit in a safe, friendly atmosphere. Not only does the Splash Pad give our small community a place to host birthday parties, church events, community gatherings; but provides a much needed facelift to this smaller public park many patrons have overlooked. The Splash Pad has brought many together for all events in a short time. From it’s FIRST Mega Bucket dump on our own Mayor, Mayor Steve Richards, to everyday use from all ages, to even an Oklahoma news crew broadcasting the state weather forecast from the park. Fun for all is to be had at the Kingfisher Splash Pad.
We strive to be a family friendly community with safety & fun as a priority. Once the City realized a huge hit to the summer was going to stay closed for renovations; we, as a city, sat down & commenced to getting the Splash Pad not only out for bid & construction started, but we asked the community for ideas, color schemes, & help to get this project up & going. This was an award winning decision for positive vibes & positive beginnings for such a project. The Splash Pad has been an outstanding addition for our city & community.
