Happy 30th Anniversary Caselle!
Back in the day if you worked at Caselle you wore a lot of hats. You wrote code. You answered the phone and used sticky notes posted on a wall to organize customer calls. You filled in whenever and wherever you were needed. And you were busy but you still found time to laugh often. It was an exciting time.
Thirty years later, we’ve made a few changes. We have almost 60 employees instead of the original 3. Most of us have specialized job descriptions. Sophisticated programs are used to track development issues and troubleshoot customer issues. It is still a very exciting time.
Thankfully, there are a few things that haven’t changed and probably never will change… our Caselle traditions. For example, the quiet persistent dedication and painstaking effort that is given to each customer. The gratitude we feel for our customers. As well as a commitment to controlled sustainable growth and complete fiscal responsibility. These are our traditions.
On a side note, thirty years in the software industry is an eternity. The lifespan of the average software company is often measured in years not decades. We like being the exception to the rule.

A tradition is one hallmark of an organization that has endured the passage of time. Caselle continues to carry the traditions instilled by Duane Hutchings when the company was founded. Another company with long-standing traditions is Disneyland. In the spirit of celebrating traditions and our relationship with each of you, we will be hosting the 2008 Annual Conference at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California.
